Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari invited to US president-elect Biden’s inauguration

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) President Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and his father, former President Asif Ali Zardari, were invited to the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden.

The father-son pair were invited to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Democrat Joe Biden, scheduled to take place on January 20. The oath-taking ceremony is supposed to be attended by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, but Asif Zardari can not attend the ceremony as he is classified on the Exit Control List.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah visited the United States last month and met with members of the Democratic Party, sources said.

It is important to note that the governments of Asif Zardari and Obama have worked closely on various projects.

On the other hand, after hundreds of supporters of President Donald Trump, stormed the U.S. Capitol in a harrowing January 6 attack on American democracy.
